What is Dating Parties? And Why?
We offer singles the ability to meet one another in a variety of fun settings, from our ever popular Speed Dating Parties to our many fun and exciting Singles Social Mixer and Special Events , where you will get to socialize and hang out plus have a great time with other like-minded singles participating in our many thoroughly planned activates and events. We provide you a safe, comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable, no-pressure atmosphere where you’ll get to know other singles, in a face to face environment.

When is my Credit Card charged? And what does it mean to be put on the waiting list for the Speed Dating Parties?
When you register for an event, your credit card is not charged until you have been confirmed. Everybody is automatically put on a waiting list, when the event has met the minimum amount of required attendees (8 each). We will then begin to start confirming attendees.

Please note we confirm up to 24 hours prior to the event. Within the 24 hours prior to the event if there are any vacancies left we will e-mail the required attendee on our waiting list to see if anyone would like to attend that event. This works on a first-come, first-serve basis! Once you reply we will start the confirmation process.

What happens after the Speed Dating Parties?
After you have finished Speed Dating, you will take your Dating Card home with you.   Next you must allow 24 hours after the Event for the system to process your matches.   Then you login to the www.datingparties.com website and enter your matches. After this is done you can then see who wants to see you again and then you can choose if you want to follow up with them. ONLY when both participants indicate they are interested will Dating Parties provide both individuals the other’s personal confirmed e-mail address only. We do not give out phone numbers or home addresses.   At that point since there is a connection already made you are on your way to creating a lasting connection with that individual. Please note you must allow at least 5 days for the other participants to enter in their matches. After 5 days the matching Section is closed and you can no longer enter in your matches.

How do I register for the Speed Dating or Singles Social Mixer Events?
To attend an event, you must register online or call by phone to 1-866-333-0282 and pay with a credit card or debit card only in advance online. There will be NO registration at the event itself. Events sell out FAST so don’t wait to register for an event in your area.

How do I register for a Special Event?  
Some Special Events will have an alternative method to register. This will be noted on the Event Description on the Find An Event Page.

What can I expect to be provided at the Speed Dating Parties?
At the event you will receive a personalized nametag, a Dating Card, and a seating assignment. Most events will have a cash bar available for you to buy yourself a drink, to mingle with the other attendees, before, during the break, and after the event.   Some events we have planned have appetizers and/or drink specials, please visit the “ Find an Event ” page for further details.

What time does the Speed Dating Parties start? What time should I get there?
We begin to check-in for the event 20 minutes prior to it starting.   Events will start promptly at the time listed on your confirmation sheet, please make all efforts to arrive on time if you arrive late that means someone will miss out on a date. If at all possible please plan on arriving a little early. Most cities will have traffic and/or other obstacles that could cause you to be late.

My age is different from the posted age group. Can I still attend the event?
We know everybody has different preferences. We encourage you to attend an event you feel comfortable at, and also one that you will fit in with socially. If you see an event that you want to attend, and you feel you are appropriate and comfortable in that age group feel free to sign up.   We look forward to seeing you there!

Do the Speed Dating Parties have any special rules?
Dating Parties wants all attendees to feel safe and comfortable in an enjoyable atmosphere, we offer this by having specific subject matter “OFF LIMITS” and basic rules to follow at all of our Speed Dating Parties:

• You MUST follow all safety rules.
• You may NOT ask for any personal information such as: their last name, their home address, phone number, e-mail address, etc.
• You may NOT ask any of the other attendees for another date.
• You may NOT ask and or speak of sexually explicit questions and topics, use any type of vulgar or offensive language, and say or do anything that might be interpreted as offensive, threatening, or as harassment.
• You must treat all of the individuals in a proper and respectful manner.
• Failure to follow these rules WILL get you ejected from the event, and you will be BANNED from any and all future events.

Do the Singles Social Mixers and Special Events have any special rules?
Dating Parties wants all attendees to feel safe and comfortable in an enjoyable atmosphere, we offer this by having specific subject matter “OFF LIMITS” and basic rules to follow at all of our Social Parties.

• You may NOT ask and or speak of sexually explicit questions and topics, use any type of vulgar or offensive language, and say or do anything that might be interpreted as offensive, threatening, or as harassment.
• You must treat all of the individuals in a proper and respectful manner.
• Failure to follow these rules WILL get you ejected from the event, and you will be BANNED from any and all future events.

It’s easy! If you love social events, helping and interacting with large groups of people, and have an entrepreneur mindset then let us know. I would like to host a Dating Parties Speed Dating Party or Social Party at my venue?
Dating Parties is always looking for new and exciting places to hold our Events or Parties. If you would like to host an event at your lounge, bar, restaurant, or any other venue, please call us at 1-866-333-0282 or send us an E-mail to contact@datingparties.com titled “My Venue” with all of your information and request.

PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE AND RESPONSIBLE TO THE OTHER ATTENDEES :
Remember there are 20-30 other singles counting on you to show up!   Just like you will be counting on them to show up also.   If you do NOT show up to an event without contacting us you will not receive any refund and will NOT be accepted to any future events and put on our NO-SHOW List!   Plus if you do not attend you are missing out on a great opportunity to meet all those new people. If something comes up on your way to the event and it prevents you from attending PLEASE contact us.   This will prevent you from going on our NO SHOW/BANNED ATTENDEE LIST!   When you are a no-show you are taking away from the party and causing someone to sit alone.   And that’s not fair to that person or us.   We take our events very seriously and respect everyone who attends our events!   Please respect their emotions and time. You’re not just standing up one person. You’re standing up an entire group!

 

HOW TO CANCEL:
Here at Dating Parties we understand that things change, events come up. If they do, PLEASE let us know. If you have to cancel that’s ok. Just let Dating Parties or the Party Coordinator know by calling us at 1-866-333-0282 or by sending us an e-mail PRIOR TO THE EVENT STARTING TIME with the following information: the Event date, age group, venue, time, your full name, and your registered e-mail address. Follow the above instructions and we will issue you a FULL CREDIT on your credit card.
